Turning the Past

A weathered plow captured in timeless black and white

Beneath the wide Idaho sky, a plow rests in the tall grass—its days of furrow and harvest long behind it. The steel is worn smooth in places, rough with rust in others, each imperfection a record of labor, weather, and time. In black and white, the distractions of color fall away, leaving only the language of light and shadow: the hard geometry of bolts and blades set against the soft sway of grass and the slow drift of clouds. This is more than an image of abandoned equipment; it is a portrait of endurance, of the quiet dignity that remains when purpose has passed but presence endures.
