The moment I spotted this pristine example, the memories came roaring back: the rumble of the V8, the click of seat belts, the blaring stereo, and the sense that we were the coolest vatos in town. With its long hood, short deck, and fastback roofline, the ’68 Mustang—alongside the '67—marks the high point of Ford’s pony car design: muscular, confident, and impossibly sexy.
